Starting Monday, June 5, there’s one “person” you’ll be happy to invite into your space—and that might just be The Muse. With creatrix Venus slinking into your eighth house of alchemy and seduction, you’ll be in your erotic and artistic element. Your intuition is turned up now, so listen! You’ve always had a gift for finding a diamond in the rough, Capricorn, and you could mine a hidden gem over the next four months—for romance, business or a creative collaboration. If your mojo’s been in slow-mo, rev it up with some physical movement. Walk through nature if possible, dance in your living room, become a yoga devotee at the Zoom “ashram.” This phase wages on until October 8‚ which is four times the usual length of a Venus transit. But the catch is that, from July 22 to September 3, Venus will be retrograde. Although existing relationships could deepen beautifully, you might first have to pry open the chamber of secrets and get vulnerable. Diplomatic Venus can help you broach touchy topics with grace. Just remember: Timing and discretion are everything. If a sexy connection got short-circuited in the past, it might spark up again once the retrograde kicks in on July 22. A wave of can-do energy may rush in on Sunday, when vibrant Mercury lands in its natural sign of Gemini and powers up your sixth house of health and fitness until June 26. Even you won’t be buying your excuses for the next few weeks! Once you see through it and really get how slacking is hurting only you, you might organically step up your efforts. If the gym isn’t your jam, don’t force yourself to go. Lace up your trainers and take a brisk walk or jog in the park—or hop on a bike and take a circuitous tour of town. Can you join a pool or beach club? Real life exercise suits your pragmatic sign. And don’t forget to load up on healthy, low-on-the-food-chain foods!
Also on Sunday, alchemical Pluto—who’s been retrograde in Aquarius and your values zone since May 1—retreats back into Capricorn and your first house of identity. You’ll host the icy dwarf for the rest of the backspin, until October 10, and then until January 20, 2024. Your personal style of expression has been undergoing some radical shifts over the past sixteen years, as the heavyweight planet has been touring Capricorn since 2008 (a visit that only happens every 284 years!). This backspinning phase will last four more months and during that time will freeze-frame some of the major transitions you’re going through. While you’ll still be in Pluto’s change-making crosshairs, some of the intensity will lessen and you’ll gain some much-needed perspective. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to hit pause on your life and reflect, review and reinvent your notions about what makes your soul sing. Of course, to bring those kinds of changes, something may have to go (think: Phoenix rising from the ashes). But don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater. While it might SEEM easier to wipe the slate clean, you don’t want to trash all your hard work. Better to go slowly, explore your own emotions, limiting beliefs and resistances first. Monitor perfectionism, too! An unpolished idea may still be a “study” for a future masterpiece.
