Finding a thoughtful, useful and memorable wedding gift for newlyweds is a challenge at the best of times. But after almost two years of cancelled and postponed nuptials, reduced guest lists and venue changes due to Covid-19, this year more than most calls for really great gifts for brides and grooms.
In the months leading up to a wedding, some couples send with their invitation a notice of the wedding gift registry, with suggested presents to buy, according to their needs (and whims). Most of the time these registry lists includes home essentials like bedding, coffee machines and towels. Others might ask for donations to a honeymoon fund or to charity.
