Now, it’s proudly introducing handbags to its repertoire, starting with three new styles specifically created with holiday parties in mind.
“Season after season, we receive requests from customers and stylists alike for handbags to wear with occasion shoes,” says head of design Edmundo Castillo. “With that in mind, I wanted to design handbags that complement our shoes—inspired by the same fashion and comfort codes we are known for.” The designer also notes that since Stuart Weitzman is primarily known for its dress shoes, expanding into evening bags was a natural progression. “Each Stuart Weitzman handbag is designed to be truly special, yet easy to wear with the rest of your wardrobe. My goal is for the bags to be as iconic as our shoes.”
The aforementioned three handbags include the Moda Shine Mini Tote, the Loveletter Clutch, and the VIP Clutch. Each one, while minimalist in design, features peak craftsmanship and glamorous details that make them really, truly pop (seriously, you can’t miss these). In other words, they’re for the women who want to stand out, like, say, brand ambassador Kim Kardashian. “Kim is the ultimate icon. She’s strong, confident, and unapologetically herself. I want women to feel empowered to embody these qualities in their own ways when carrying our handbags,” Castille shares. “I think of the Moda Shine as the ‘It bag’ for women who do it all.” Speaking of, the Kardashian has a Moda Shine in her arsenal, so you already know it’s celebrity-approved.
