'The Mindy Project's costume designer teamed up with Gilt for a new capsule collection.
If every episode of The Mindy Project leaves you wishing you could dress like Dr. Mindy Lahiri, you're in luck: Gilt has teamed up with Salvador Perez, the Emmy-nominated costume designer on the hit show, to create a collection of six coats (all featured throughout season 4) that will be sold exclusively on the site. "I started designing and making colorful coats for The Mindy Project because I couldn't find them in stores," Perez told us. "They have become a signature look for Mindy. The fans have always asked for me to make them available for them too, so when Gilt approached me to design a coat collection, I jumped at the chance." Launching Tuesday October 27 at noon ET, each coat in The Salvador Perez Collection for Gilt will be available exclusively at gilt.com/salvadorperez for $450. Pick up one for the coming winter, because, as Dr. Lahiri once so wisely said, if you're going to be a mess, you might as well be a hot mess.
